This is a truly stunning and truly rare EARLY example of this classic guitar. Many many pictures of these guitars being played by the likes of George Harrison, Jimmy Page, etc. They were the slightly more affordable and easier to get hold of ‘Fender Stratocaster’ in the UK. This one I purchased from the original owner who had bought this brand new in the early 1960s in Liverpool, and had actually played in The Cavern with this very guitar. This very guitar can be heard on the track ‘A Little You’ by Chick Graham & the Coasters. I’ve seen some of the slightly earlier ‘3-aside’ examples of this guitar fetch upwards of £6000, so grab an absolute bargain.
This one even comes with the original Selmer croc-skin hard case as pictured. In wonderful condition, with a little bit of buckle rash to the back otherwise great. Check out the Tele style neck too!
