Vintage 1960s Selmer Treble N Bass 50 MK3 Valve Amplifier
Vintage 1960s Selmer Treble N Bass 50 MK3 Valve Amplifier
If you’re looking for an internally original Selmer Treble N Bass (with those classic transformers), but without the cost of a clean example, then this is the amplifier for you. It’s internally original, including all 3x transformers. The 2x EL34 are period correct, alongside the 4x period ECC83 (including Mullard’s!). It’s a wonderful amplifier!
Cosmetically a little tired, as you can see, having been re-covered at some point in the 1970s, and a paint stain to the front panel. The plexiglass has a few cracks in it, as you can see, but the knobs are original. It’s a wonderful amplifier – internally original, but externally a little tired, hence the price. If you’re wanting a piece of British amplifier history, this is the amplifier for you! This amplifier has been serviced to a playable & safe standard, by one of the UKs leading amp techs. Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.
