This will be the cleanest example of this amplifier you will ever find. Recently driven down from the North of Scotland to me from the original owner since new, this 1972 Popular is complete including the original footswitch and cover, and is in truly stunning condition. I absolutely love these ‘mini Bluesbreaker’ amplifiers, and it’s pretty rare to find one that hasn’t been altered or modified into a ‘Bluesbreaker’. It has been incredibly well looked after, as you can see, with hardly any marks on it at all. It also comes complete – including the triangle footswitch.
The original Celestion 7442 speakers are in great working order, and have the original cones in both. The original transformers sound amazing. The valves inside include 1x original Brimar ECC83 and 2x ECL86. It is untouched on the circuit board too, except for a couple of light replacements needed over time.
